Governor Ganeshi Lal Pays Homage to Health Minister Naba Das

Bhubaneswar: Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal paid homage to Naba Das at his official residence in Bhubaneswar.

Yesterday, the Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal also reached Apollo hospital to inquire about the health condition of Nab Das, who is undergoing treatment in critical condition after being shot by an ASI in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district.

Naba Das passed away while undergoing treatment after being shot by an ASI in Gandhi Chhak square near Brajarajnagar in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district. He was undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Naba Das, who sustained critical injuries after an ASI of police opened fire at him, was airlifted from the Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Odisha’s Health and Family Welfare minister Naba Kishore Das was shot at by an assistant sub-inspector of police in Jharsuguda district on Sunday. The ASI has been taken into custody for interrogation and investigation.

The man who fired at Das reportedly was in police uniform and he has been identified as ASI Gopal Das. As a policeman in uniform, Gopal Das could reach the Odisha Health Minister’s proximity to fire four to five rounds at his chest.
