Bhubaneswar: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast hailstorms and gusty winds in several districts.
According to IMD reports, light rains, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds will impact isolated locations across Odisha during the next two days.
“There will be no large change in the maximum temperature (Day temperature) during the next 4-5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha,” said IMD.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Bolangir, Sonepur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj on Friday.
Similarly, on Saturday, thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal.
