Infosys Sacks 600 freshers Following Their Failure in Internal Tests

New Delhi: Services of around 600 freshers were terminated by Infosys when they failed to clear the internal assessment tests for freshers, conducted by the company. They were among the hundreds of recent graduates working with the company.

According to reports, out of them around 208 fresh employees were sacked two weeks ago. In recent months Infosys has sacked hundreds of recent graduates when they failed to clear its internal assessment tests for freshers, reported Business Today. The report further stated that as many as 600 such employees have been let go in recent months after failing the tests.

Of these 600 freshers as many as 208 were sacked two weeks ago when they failed in the latest round of the exercise.

Failing the internal assessment, however, did not result in termination for those who joined the Bengaluru-based IT giant before July 2022, the report said.

According to a fresher of the company, out of 150 in his team, only 60 passed the exam; rest all of us were sacked two weeks ago. From those who joined in July, 85 were terminated out of total 150, said the fresher of Infosys.
