Kerala Youth Sentenced 45 Yr Imprisonment for Molesting LKG Student

New Delhi: A 26-year-old man named Sudheesh from Parakode in Alappuzha district of Kerala was convicted and sentenced to 45 years of rigorous imprisonment by the Adoor Fast Track Special Court for molesting a student of LKG.

The court in its verdict delivered on Tuesday, also ordered the convict to pay Rs 2 lakh as compensation to the survivor.

In 2019 when the young victim was studying in LKG classes, Sudheesh allegedly molested her when her parents were away, reported Matrubhumi.

The court also reprimanded the victim’s mother for concealing the incident. The child’s father received a six-month imprisonment sentence for attempting to hide the matter from the authorities. He was released on account of the time already served during the pre-trial period.
