Lady Blackmailing Case: Chargesheet Filed Against Archana Nag in Sextortion Case

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has filed a chargesheet against Archana Nag for money laundering and sextortion. The chargesheet is filed before the JMFC 3 court, Bhubaneswar in Nayapalli Police Station case no. 646/2022. It was charged following the complaint lodged by Odia Cine Producer Akshay Parija.

The 501-page chargesheet was submitted against Nag under Sections 384, 385, 388, 389, 500, 506 and 120-B of the IPC and Sections 66E, 67 and 67A of the I-T Act.

The Commissionerate Police has also requested the court to keep the investigation open for the collection of more evidence in the case.

“The Commissionerate Police will submit a supplementary chargesheet against Nag after the completion of the investigation,” said a senior official.

Akshay Parija had lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police on allegations that Archana and her husband Jagabandhu sought Rs 3 crore from him by blackmailing him with a video of the intimate moments between him and a woman.
