Land Scam Case: ED Raids IAS Chhavi Ranjan Premises

Ranchi: Enforcement Directorate officials are raiding the premises of former Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, IAS Chhavi Ranjan since morning.

The raids are taking place in connection with the purchase and sale of land occupied by the Army at Bariatu in Ranchi.

Apart from this, the ED team is also raiding many residences and offices of several Circle Officers and land traders related to the case.

The ED team has raided 22 locations of IAS Chhavi Ranjan including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Simdega, Hazaribagh, Kolkata, and Gopalganj in Bihar. Mr. Ranjan is currently posted as Director in Social Welfare Department.
