Man Throws 2-Year-Old Son From Balcony After Quarrel with Wife

New Delhi: A man threw his two-year-old son from the balcony and later jumped off after having a quarrel with his wife in Delhi.

Both father and the son were rushed to the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) with serious injuries.

The incident has come to the fore from a slum at Kalkaji in New Delhi.

Man Singh and his wife Puja were living separately for the past few months due to family disputes. Puja was staying at her grandmother’s home in Kalkaji along with her two children.

Man Singh visited them last night when the couple got into a heated argument. In anger, he took his son to the balcony and threw him 21 feet below to the concrete. He then jumped off from the balcony too.

Puja’s grandmother alleged that Man Singh was under the influence of alcohol.

A case of attempted murder is registered against Man Singh.
