Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch to Marry for 5th Time at 92

The Australia-born Media baron, Rupert Murdoch is engaged again to marry for the fifth time at the age of 92 years. He is to marry former San Fran police chaplain Ann Lesley Smith, reported New York Post. The couple plans to get married this summer.

Mr Murdoch told the tabloid newspaper, “I was very nervous. I dreaded falling in love – but I knew this would be my last. It better be. I’m happy.

Smith was earlier married and her husband died in 2008. They got together because of their knowledge of the media business. Talking to New York Post, Smith said, “For us both it’s a gift from God. We met last September. I’m a widow 14 years. Like Rupert, my husband was a businessman. Worked for local papers, developed radio and TV stations and helped promote Univision. So I speak Rupert’s language. We share the same beliefs.”

“We’re both looking forward to spending the second half of our lives together,” Murdoch said.

Mr Murdoch has six children from his first three marriages. According to Forbes, the Chairman and CEO of News Corp. is believed to have a financial empire of around $17 billion. His empire includes Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and a string of other media assets around the world.
