Minor Boy Found Dead in Neighbour’s House

Berhampur: A four-year-old boy was found dead in his neighbour at Mundamarie village under the Dharakote block of Odisha’s Ganjam district.

The deceased was identified as Nitesh Patra.

According to sources, Nitesh went missing on Monday evening. The family members searched for him in the locality. Later, some locals informed the family of the deceased that they saw a youth, identified as Srikant Sethi, had taken Nitesh to the terrace of his house.

The family members rushed to Srikant’s house and first spotted Nitesh’s slippers. They searched the entire house and recovered Nitesh’s blood-stained body. The family members have alleged that Nitesh was beaten to death.

After being informed, the police reached the spot and started to probe.
