Minor Drowns to Death in a Pond in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A 12-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Simulia village of Bangalpur panchayat under Simulia police limits of Odisha’s Balasore district.

The deceased was identified as Paresh Nath. Paresh had gone to the pond to take bath but he did not return home.

As he did not return home, Paresh’s family went on to search for him.

The family members informed the fire service personnel about the matter. They tried to find him but failed. Later the deceased’s body was fished out from the pond after a four-hour-long search by the ODRAF team.
