Minor Son Beats Father to Death For Thrashing Mother in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: A minor son beat his father to death at a village under Lahunipada police limits in Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Dinabandhu Nayak.

According to reports, Dinabandhu and his wife had a heated argument. Due to increase in rage, Dinabandhu started beating his wife. Their son was watching this from a distance. He lost his cool, picked up a piece of iron rod and started beating his father, leading to his death on the spot.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and took the minor into their custody. A detailed investigation is underway.
