Missing Files of Jagannath Temple Discovered in Odisha Law Dept

Bhubaneswar: The Law Department of Odisha on Thursday clarified that the so-called two missing files of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration are in its possession.

“Media reports had claimed that two files of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration were untraceable in the records of JTA Section of the Law department. There is no truth in these reports,” said the Law department in a press note.

According to the press note, these two files are very old and they got mixed with some other files in the JTA section. So, a circular was issued to all sections of the Law department to trace the two files. The department claimed that both files have been traced out and are in good condition.

“In inviting a reference to the subject cited above, the undersigned is directed to say that two files of JTA Section bearing No-JTA-55/2006(pt) and JTA-06/2014 are untraceable in the records of JTA Section. Therefore, it is hereby requested to all sections of this Department to conduct search operation in their records on a priority basis and submit the said files, if available, to JTA Section immediately for compliance of the order of Hon’ble High Court,” the state Law department informed.
