Murder Accused Escapes from Police Station in Rayagada District

Rayagada: A murder accused allegedly managed to escape from the Kalyansinghpur Police Station in the Rayagada district on Friday.

He escaped from police custody on the pretext of attending nature’s call.

The fugitive is Damburu Pusika, a resident of the Lama village under Kalyansinghpur police station limits. According to police sources, he had hacked his 21-year-old younger brother Minduru Pusika to death at Niyamgiri hills on December 27.
