Mysterious Object Flying Over Alaska Shot Down by US Fighter Jet

A mysterious unidentified flying object flying at a height of around 40,000 feet above Alaska was shot down by a US fighter jet on Friday, informed White House. This incident occurred six days after an alleged Chinese spy balloon was shot down by the US Air Force.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said although the purpose or origin of this new flying object was not clear, it was shot down because, floating at 40,000 feet, it was a threat to civil aviation.

According to the White House, this flying object was smaller than the huge Chinese balloon that crossed the United States last week. The one flying over Alaska was of the size of a small car, while the Chinese spy balloon was of the size of three buses.

The flying object shot down over Alaska fell in northern Alaska near the Canadian border over a frozen body of water. Efforts are on to recover the debris.
