Nepal Prez to be Airlifted to Delhi AIIMS for Treatment

New Delhi: Nepal President Ram Chandra Paudel will be airlifted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in an air-ambulance for treatment. He was detected with a lung infection.

This has been confirmed by an official from the Nepal President’s Secretariat. He would be flown to AIIMS on Wednesday. He was undergoing treatment in Nepal. When there was no improvement in his health, it was decided to shift him to Delhi AIIMS.

He was admitted to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Tuesday after falling short of breath and fainting. The Chief Administrator of this medical college hospital has confirmed that he might be flown to India in an air ambulance.
