Night Temperature Drops Below 15 Degree in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded a drop in night temperature to below 15 degrees Celcius.

As per the reports given by Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar experienced a night temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, whereas Cuttack city recorded 16.4 degrees Celsius.

Daringbadi of Kandhamal district, which is termed the “Kashmir of Odisha”, and Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district recorded 11 degrees Celsius night temperature.

G Udaygiri of Kandhamal district recorded 7.2 degrees Celsius temperature on Monday night, becoming the coldest town in the State for the day. It was followed by Similiguda of Koraput district at 9 degree Celsius.

Phulbani of Kandhamal district recorded 10.5 degrees Celsius temperature. Koraput registered 11 degree Celsius minimum temperature.

Likewise, Kirei of Sundargarh district recorded 11. 5 degree Celsius, followed by Chiplima of Sambalpur at 12 degree Celsius, and Jharsuguda at 12. 6 degree Celsius. Keonjhar and Deogarh recorded 13 degrees Celsius,

Sambalpur town registered 14.9 degrees Celsius. While Sonepur recorded 14.6 degrees Celsius.

Ranitala of Bhadrak district and Boudh recorded 13.5 degrees Celsius each, while Sundargarh and Angul registered 14 degree Celsius each. Mahishaphata of Dhenkanal district and Nayagarh recorded 14.5 degrees Celsius each.
