Nursing College Owner Held for Issuing Fake Admit Cards in Angul

Angul: The owner of Sai Sraddha Nursing School at Chhendipada of Angul district was arrested for allegedly issuing fake admit cards to students.

According to sources, 3 students of the college, who went to appear in the exam in March, were not allowed to sit in the exam as the examination authorities claimed their certificate to be fake.

Later the students took up the matter with their college principal Kailash Chandra Jena. However, the principal did not listen to them and instead hurled abuses at them.

Following this, the students filed a complaint with the police. They also agitated and conducted a fast unto death in front of the district collector’s office.

After getting information about the incident, police rushed to the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. The students called off their agitation after the deputy collector assured them that they will look into the matter.

Reportedly, seven out of the total 21 students of the nursing college could not appear at the examination.
