Odisha Govt’s  Tirth Yatra Train for Senior Citizens Flagged off by CM

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is again sponsoring a tirth yatra for senior citizens of the state. A special senior citizens’ tirth yatra train will start off from Bhubaneswar to Prayagraj and Varanasi today.

This free tirth yatra program has been taken up under the senior citizen pilgrimage scheme of the Government of Odisha, which is popularly known as Baristha Nagarika Tirth yatra Yojana.

Around 982 senior citizens will benefit from this tirth yatra sponsored by the Odisha government, which is to be flagged off by the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The senior citizens selected for this tirth yatra trip are from Khurda, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, and Dhenkanal districts.
