Bhubaneswar: At least eight places in ODisha recorded a maximum temperature of 38°C or above on Saturday, according to reports given by India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Talcher and Sambalpur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 38.6°C.
According to IMD reports, Bhubaneswar recorded a maximum temperature of 38.5°C, Baripada 38°C, Jharsuguda 38.4°C, Sambalpur and Talcher 38.6°C, Sonepur 38.4°C, Boudh and Khordha 38°C.
Over 20 places in the state recorded a maximum temperature of 37°C. These include Balasore, Chandbali, Cuttack, Angul, Sundargarh, Hirakud, Bolangir, Malkangiri, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, and Jagatsinghpur.
The temperature is going to increase in the upcoming days.
