President Murmu’s Holy Walk on Puri Badadanda

Puri: President Droupadi Murmu preferred to walk on the holy Badadanda of Puri to reach Shree Jagannath Temple to worship the deities on Thursday.

After reaching Puri, she was escorted to Shree Mandir. To show up her love and devotion for Shree Jagannath and inhabitants of Puri, she walked on the holy Badadanda to reach the temple.

Adequate security arrangements have been made in Puri for this visit of the first citizen of the country. Crowds gathered at Badadanda to have a glimpse of the president during her visit to the holy Dham.

Following the darshan of Shree  Jagannath, she will visit Puri Raj Bhawan, where Mahaprasaada will be served to her.

President Murmu will return to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. She is scheduled to attend a civic reception at Raj Bhawan in the evening.

Tomorrow, the President will visit Tapoban High School in Bhubaneswar and interact with students and teachers. On the same day, she will launch various projects of the Union Ministry of Education from Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar
