“President of Ghosts’ Association” Arrested in Khordha in a 2013 Murder Case

Bhubaneswar: A man named Bipin Kumar Routray (52), who claims to be the president of “Ghosts’ Association” was arrested by police from Khordha on Wednesday in connection to a murder case of 2013.

The arrested man hails from Nandapur village was recently viral on social media because of his claims that he had talked with the ghost of former state minister Naba Das, who was shot dead by a police SI.

During his interview with an Odia news channel, this man claimed that he was heading as many as 400002 ghosts. The video clip of his bizarre statements had gone viral on social media platforms.

According to police sources, three warrants were pending against Routray because of his past offenses. Personnel of Khordha Sadar police station nabbed him while he had come to his village. He was sent to jail after production before a local court.
