Rs 10 Lakh Looted from SBI ATM in Ganjam District

Berhampur: A group of miscreants managed to break open an ATM machine of the State Bank of India (SBI) in Purushottampur of Ganjam district on Thursday night. According to bank officials, the burglars escaped with around Rs 10 lakh in cash kept inside the ATM.

The SBI ATM targeted by these unidentified burglars is located at Pratapur square under Purusottampur police station limits of Ganjam district.

On Friday morning some locals saw the broken ATM machine of SBI and immediately informed the police. Police have registered an FIR regarding the incident and investigation is on to track down the culprits.
