Singer Humane Sagar’s Wife alleges that He Tortures Her

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia singer Humane Sagar has again landed in a controversy. This time his wife has accused that he is torturing her physically and mentally.

The aggrieved woman met the Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra on Tuesday. She alleged before the DCP that Humane Sagar was neglecting her for the last few months. He was also torturing her physically and mentally, she added.

The DCP directed the Women’s Police Station to investigate the allegations. The couple was directed to appear at the Women’s Police Station for counselling.

According to reports, Humane Sagar’s wife has left his home at CDA-Sector 6. She is now living with her parents in Balasore.

Humane Sagar has entered into controversies in the past. Music director Debashis Mallick alias Japani alleged that the singer was not ready to sing the bhajans of Lord Jagannath. During the COVID pandemic, he was criticized for singing  ‘Jhia Nuhe Tu Coronavirus’, a song in which a girl was compared with the deadly virus.
