Son Hacked Father to Death; Hides Body Inside House for Two Days

Mayurbhanj: A man killed his father and hid his body inside his house at Palasagadia village under Jashipur police limits in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.

The accused was identified as Ishwar Guia and the victim as Nanda Kishore Guia.

According to sources, an argument erupted between the father and son on January 2 over a matter. The argument heated up and in a fit of rage, Ishwar attacked his father with an axe and murdered him on the spot. After killing his father, the accused kept the body inside the house in order to hide his sine.

As family members could not get the whereabouts of Nandakishore for two days, they suspected something wrong behind the scene. They later found the body and informed the police about it.

After being informed, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for autopsy.

Police also detained Ishwar for questioning.
