Sonepur Road Mishap: Student’s Death Toll Rises to 3

Sonepur: Another student, who was injured in the accident, succumbed to injuries while being shifted to Burla hospital.

According to reports, the incident took place while they were crossing the road in front of their school when a speeding Scorpio hit the students. Subsequently, one was killed on the spot another died while undergoing treatment.

Aware locals chased the accused’s vehicle and stop it at a distance from the accident spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot and rushed the injured students to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). The cops also seized the vehicle and detained the accused for questioning.

Further investigation is underway in this regard.
