Stray Dog Mauls Infant to Death in Jharkhand

Ranchi: A six-month-old girl was mauled to death by a stray dog at Gopipur village in West Singhbhum district in Jharkhand on Sunday.

The six-month-old girl suffered multiple bites of the dog. She was rushed to the Manohapur Community Health Centre in serious condition, where she succumbed to the injuries caused by the dog bites.

A stray dog dragged away the baby girl from her house, while her mother had gone to the washroom. The stray dog dragged the infant to a distance and mauled her.
