Survey of Idgah Adjacent to Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Stayed by Mathura Court

Mathura: Amin survey of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Idgah was stayed by a local court in Mathura on Wednesday, reported the Statesman.

The court had earlier ordered the survey of 13 acres of the Idgah land by Amin. The survey report was to be submitted by April 11. But acting on a petition filed by the Idgah side, the Civil Judge, Senior Division Fast Track Court, Neeraj Gond on Wednesday stayed the survey.

The next hearing of the case will be on April 11.

The survey order was passed by the court on March 29. Following this, the Idgah side and Sunni Central Waqf Board filed petition to stop it.

On Tuesday, an application on behalf of the Sunni Central Waqf Board was submitted in court. The court had reserved its order on Tuesday. The judgment came on Wednesday.
