Under-Construction Bridge Collapses in Keonjhar; 3 Injured

Keonjhar: An under-construction bridge over river Kusei in Keonjhar collapsed on Monday. Three people were injured in the incident. No casualties were reported.

According to sources, the incident occurred today morning when one span of the bridge broke, while the laborers were working on it. The beam connecting it also fell down.

All the injured persons were identified as laborers. One of the three was critically injured. He was admitted to Anandpur hospital.

The police reached the spot and started an investigation.

The reason behind the collapse of under-construction bridge portion is yet to be known.
