‘Unknown’ Man Secretly Records Videos of BJP Ministers While Having Luch, Flees on Being Questioned

Bargarh: An anonymous person was caught clicking pictures and recording video of BJP Ministers secretly in Padmapur assembly constituency. The incident took place while Union Minister NS Tomar and Ashwini Vaishnaw were having lunch at the residence of a BJP worker in Sohela area. When the man was stopped and questioned, he fled from the spot.

The man left his ID card and mobile phone on the spot.

Reportedly the ID card belonged to one Bhojraj Das, ASI of the CID Special Branch. Suspecting that he was fake intelligence personnel, BJP’s youth leader Pritosh Bahidar has lodged a complaint with Padampur Police station.

According to sources, several senior BJP leaders, including union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Narendra Singh Tomar, were having lunch at a person’s house in Purushottampur village of Padampur area, when the accused tried to take their pictures secretly.

The accused started taking pictures and recording videos with a mobile phone. As the security personnel of the union ministers asked him to stop recording, he identified himself as a staffer of the District Intelligence Bureau.

He fled from the spot on being questioned. But his mobile phone and identity card fell from his pockets.
