VHP Demands SRK’s Apology Over Pathan Movie’s ‘Besharam Rang’ Song

New Delhi: Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie Pathan is in the news again as Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) raised questions over its song.

The right-wing organisation has sought the actor’s apology over his upcoming movie Pathan’s ‘Besharam Rang’ song.’

VHP Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain called Khan “arrogant” and said that “If Shahrukh Khan doesn’t apologise, we will not allow the release of the movie Pathan.”

“By juxtaposing Bhagwa colour with ‘Beshram Rang’, Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan has disrespected the Hindu religion and the entire India,” Jain said.

On Wednesday, activists of an outfit staged a protest against the upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song Besharam Rang in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.

The activists of Veer Shivaji Group gathered at a road intersection and set effigies of actors Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan on fire.
