Wild Boar Meat Seized In Odisha’s Khordha; 2 Arrested

Khordha: Wild Boar meat was seized from Balugaon Forest Division of Odisha’s Khordha district on December 6. The Forest department officials have arrested two persons after seizing the meat from their possession.

After receiving some clues of wildlife product smuggling, Forest department officials conducted a raid inside a forest under Balugaon Forest Division. While raiding the accused’s house, they seized 5 kg of wild boar meat.

The accused, identified as Sujit Pradhan (30) and Deepak Pradhan of Patrapur village under Banpur police limits were arrested.

The duo was forwarded to court following their arrest.

The forest department is conducting raids to put a check on the smuggling of wildlife products.
