Woman Constable Found Hanging in Her official Residence in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A woman constable was found hanging from the ceiling of her official residence in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

The deceased was identified as Sunita Naik, working as a woman constable at Dhenkanal Town police station. She was living with her husband Ganeshwar Naik, who is also a constable at the same police station.

The reason behind such a drastic step is yet to be ascertained.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. The police have also launched a probe into the unnatural death of the police constable.
