Women’s T20 World Cup: India to Play Against Pakistan in South Africa Today

Cape Town: India will look to maintain its grip over its arch-rivals Pakistan when the two teams will meet in the Women’s T-20 World Cup at Newlands in Cape Town at 6.30 p.m. today.

India and Pakistan have met in 13 Women’s T-20 internationals in the past 14 years, with India holding a 10-3 winning advantage.

In yesterday’s matches, England defeated West Indies by seven wickets and Australia won by 97 runs against New Zealand at Boland Park, Paarl.

Chasing the target of 136 runs set by the West Indies, England made 138 for three with 5.3 overs to spare.  Put into bat Australia scored 173 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, New Zealand was all out for 76 runs in 14 overs.
