Youth on Scooter Run Over By Speeding Truck In Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: A youth driving a scooter died when he was run over by a speeding truck near Bhawanipatna Municipal Road in  Kalahandi district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sunil Panda of Charbahal village of Kalahandi district.

According to reports, Sunil was returning home on his scooter after shopping in the local market when his vehicle was hit by a speeding truck.  He fell down from the vehicle and the truck ran over him. He died on the spot.

After committing the accident, the driver of the truck surrendered at the local police station.
