Actor Papu Pom Pom Faces Wrath of Audience During Stage Show, Stones Pelted At Him

Berhampur: Ollywood actor Papu PomPom alias Tattwa Prakash Satpathy again faced the wrath of the audience.

On the occasion of Maha Shiv Ratri at Sorala village in Chikiti of Ganjam district, the actor-comedian was greeted with stones and water bottles as he took the stage, albeit an hour late.

However, he narrowly escaped the stone-pelting mob. The stone pelting continued even after the actor requested the audience to maintain peace and allow the programme to continue.

But the audience was in no mood to let the actor take the stage and he soon left the venue. Soon after the incident, the stand-up comedian skipped the stage show and fled immediately.

Meanwhile, the reason for such an untoward incident remains unclear. It is suspected that the actor was scheduled to arrive at 10 pm on Friday but was delayed by an hour. Unhappy over such happening, angry mons pelted stones at the actor.

While the organisers are yet to comment on the issue, no FIR has been filed with regard to the incident.
