Anand Toppo Murder Case: Hockey Star Birendra Lakra Appears Before Infocity Police

Bhubaneswar: International hockey player Birendra Lakra on Monday appeared before Infocity police in Bhubaneswar today in connection with the Anand Toppo murder case.

According to reports, Anand’s father Bandhan Tappo levelled murder allegations against Lakra.

In February this year, Lakra informed Anand’s father that he committed suicide in a flat under Infocity police limits.

When Bandhan reached Bhubaneswar, Lakra was not there on the spot. Bandhan had found cut marks on the neck of his son.

Levelling murder allegation, he had moved police station. But, the IIC did not receive his complaint.

Additional DCP, Prakash Chandra Pal, zonal ACP, and Investigating Officer (IO) were present during the questioning.
