Four Including Two Women Killed In Khordha Road Mishap

Khordha: Four persons including two women were killed in a tragic road mishap on National Highway-16 near Badapokharia under Jankia police limits in Khordha district on Thursday.

The incident took place this morning when the four persons were travelling in a car rammed into a stationary truck.

Among the deceased two are men and two are women. The incident occurred while the four were en route to Bhubaneswar from Andhra Pradesh by car.

The speeding vehicle rammed into a stationed truck on NH-16 after the driver lost balance on the wheels of the vehicle. All four died on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot, recovered the bodies, and sent them to the district headquarters hospital for post-mortem.
