Four Killed As Truck Rams Into Car In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a tragic incident, four persons were killed after the car they were travelling in was hit by a truck at Badaposi square under Sadar police limits in the district on Thursday.

The deceased include the former block chairman of Ghatagaan, his brother, and two siblings of another family.

The incident took place when they were returning home after visiting a local fair in Keonjhar.

A speeding truck rammed into their car killing three of them on the spot.

The car driver and another person sustained critical injuries. They were immediately admitted to the district headquarters hospital where one of the injured was declared dead.

The car driver is undergoing treatment in critical condition.
