Hockey WC : 4 Held In Bhubaneswar For Black Marketing Of Match Tickets

Bhubaneswar: Four persons were arrested by city police in Bhubaneswar on the charges of black marketing tickets for Hockey World Cup matches being held here.

Nayapalli police caught them red-handed and seized 8 tickets and Rs 11, 000 from their possession, informed Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh on Monday.

“Earlier, five persons were held while doing black marketing of world cup tickets. Strict action will be taken against those who are involved in black marketing of Hockey tickets, said Singh.

The FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup which began on January 13 will continue January 29. The matches are being played at Kalinga stadium and newly built Birsa Munda Hockey stadium in Rourkela.
