Miscreants Open Fire In Athagarh, 3 Critical

Athagarh: As many as three persons including a father-son duo were critically injured after miscreants opened fire at them in the Athagarh area of Cuttack district on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the incident took place at Majhisahi in Jenapada area. The injured persons have been identified as Bansidhar Nayak, Jitendra Nayak and Dinabandhu.

Though the reason behind the firing is yet to be known, it is suspected that past rivalry played role in this incident.

Meanwhile, all the injured have been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Police have reached the spot and launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants.
