Naveen Patnaik 3rd Richest CM of India; Know Who are the Richest & Poorest of the Lot!

With assets totalling Rs 63.72 crores, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik ranked the third wealthiest Chief Minister of India after an analysis of the election affidavits submitted to the Election Commission of India.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is the wealthiest state ruler in the country, whereas West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has the least net worth.

According to the affidavits, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has assets worth Rs 370 crore, which is greater than those of all other CMs combined.

With assets worth only Rs. 15 lakhs, Banerjee is the poorest CM, while Bihar CM Nitish Kumar ranks next with Rs. 56 lakhs.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is the only other Chief Minister with assets under Rs 1 crore (Rs 73 lakhs).
