Noted Artist Manas Sahoo Creates Sand Art On ‘Basant Panchami’

Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created sand art on the theme “Basant Panchami” at Puri Golden beach near the Light House.

He has endeavoured to spread the message regarding the goddess of learning and art, Goddess Saraswati, through his sand art to the whole world.

The sand art is 20 feet wide and uses 10 tons of sand. Sahoo took seven hours to sculpt the sand art. The sand art has been christened “Happy Basant Panchami”.
