Odia Film Producer Akshay Parija Named In Casting Couch Controversy

Bhubaneswar: Casting couch controversy has gripped the Ollywood once again as veteran Odia film producer Akshay Parija has landed in a casting couch controversy.

According to reports, after an aspiring actress allegedly accused him of sexual exploitation.

According to a complaint filed by the victim at Laxmisagar police station, the producer had been sexually exploiting her for one and a half years after promising to cast her in his upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, Parija, on the other side, has vehemently denied the accusation. Speaking to the media, he claimed that the girl had conspired to discredit him.

Although he acknowledged knowing the girl, he insisted that he did not have any such relationship with her.

The film producer revealed that he too has photographic evidence of their meeting and will produce the same before the police as and when required.

He further stated that the police had questioned him in this regard and that he is cooperating with them to bring out the truth.
