Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Announces Monthly Honorarium of ₹25,000 for State’s Padma Awardees

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday unveiled a new initiative to recognize the remarkable contributions of Padma awardees hailing from the state.

Starting from April this year, Padma awardees from Odisha will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000, as announced by the Chief Minister today.

This commendable step, initiated by the Chief Minister’s Office, underscores the invaluable impact of these individuals’ efforts towards societal welfare.

The monthly stipend aims to honour and support the outstanding achievements of Padma awardees from Odisha, highlighting their ongoing dedication to uplifting communities and fostering positive change.
