Bill Gates’ Ex-Wife Melinda to Resign from Their Foundation on June 7

Melinda French Gates, the former wife of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has announced that on June 7 she will resign from the foundation that she and her husband founded.

In a post on X, Gates said she was “immensely proud” of the work of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which she and Bill Gates started in 2000. She said she would be leaving with $12.5 billion to “commit to my work on behalf of women and families”, and that her last day would be June 7.
