Ollywood Actor Zeena, Hubby & 80 Others Join BJP

Balasore: Ollywood actor Zeena Samal and her husband Rudra Panigrahi on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

It is noteworthy that around 80 others also joined the saffron party’s merger ceremony in presence of former union minister and Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi.

After joining the party, Zeena said, “I always wanted to work for the state and the country. BJP’s nationalist ideology attracted me and I will pave way for people through it.”

Zeena is a popular actress in the Odisha cine industry. She has a good fan following across the state. Jina hails from the Kamarda area of the Balasore district.

The merger meeting came ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the state on March 26.
