PM Modi’s 2-Day Odisha Sojourn Begins Today, Packed Schedule for BJP’s Poll Push

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha, starting Sunday, as the state gears up for the crucial Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. This visit comes on the heels of the Prime Minister’s recent trips to the state, where he has been actively campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates.

According to the tentative schedule, PM Modi will arrive in Bhubaneswar this evening at around 6:30 PM, after which he will proceed to the Raj Bhavan. He is expected to hold a meeting with the state BJP leadership and spend the night there.

On Monday, the Prime Minister’s day will commence with a roadshow in the holy town of Puri from 8 AM to 9 AM. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure a seamless execution of the roadshow.

Following the roadshow, PM Modi will travel to Angul, where he is slated to address a public rally at the Stadium Field Ground from 10:15 AM to 10:55 AM. This rally is aimed at garnering support for the BJP candidates contesting the Dhenkanal Lok Sabha seat and the associated Assembly segments.

Afterwards, the Prime Minister will head to Cuttack, where he will address another election rally at Kila Padia from 12 noon to 12:40 PM.

This visit marks Modi’s third trip to Odisha within two weeks amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha and assembly elections. In previous visits, he confidently projected BJP’s victory in the state, challenging Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on various fronts.

Odisha has already witnessed one phase of polling on May 13, with three more phases scheduled for May 20, May 25 and June 1.
