Rourkela Land Mafia Injured In Police Encounter

Rourkela: A dreaded criminal suffered gunshot wounds this morning in Rourkela following an encounter with the Rourkela Police.

The injured criminal, who is also a local land mafia, was identified as Chunaku Oram. He was admitted to the Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela. His condition is stable.

According to reports, Chunaku is accused of killing a contractor over a land dispute yesterday. He was trying to escape from Rourkela. However, the police received reliable inputs from sources about his whereabouts this morning. Consequently, he was stopped and asked to surrender.

But Chunaku opened fire at the cops as he attempted to flee. Policemen fired in retaliation and Chunaku received a bullet on his leg.
