Odisha Nurse Receives National Florence Nightingale Award; CM Majhi, LoP Patnaik Extend Congratulations

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: A dedicated nursing officer from Odisha’s Malkangiri district, Sanjukta Sethi, has been honoured with the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award. The award was presented by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Wednesday.

Sethi was recognised for her exceptional contributions to healthcare services.

The National Florence Nightingale Awards, instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, aim to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding work of nursing personnel in India.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik congratulated Sethi on her achievement. Both leaders praised her dedication, sacrifice and public service, highlighting her as an inspiration for women’s empowerment.
