18 Critical As Passenger Bus Overturns After Colliding With Ambulance in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: At least 18 people were critically injured on Thursday when a passenger bus overturned after colliding with an ambulance in the Bhadrak district of Odisha.

The bus, carrying passengers from Bhadrak to Agarpada, met with the accident near Raimani, preliminary reports suggest. The bus toppled over after colliding with the ambulance, reportedly due to the driver losing control of the vehicle.

At least 18 passengers sustained critical injuries in the unfortunate incident. Local volunteers promptly sprang into action, rescuing the injured passengers and swiftly transporting them to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Bhadrak for urgent medical treatment. The driver of the 102 ambulance also suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision.

Senior officials from the district administration and the police swiftly arrived at the scene, taking charge of the rescue efforts. Further information is eagerly awaited as the investigation unfolds.
